The foundation of ULUCANLAR Group was established in Sivas in 1959 involved in construction materials trade. In 1990, the operations were relocated to Istanbul, and in 2006, together with commercial operations in Algeria, the company acquired an international identity.

In the following years, our founders, who placed importance on know-how, quality and trustworthyness have turned to investments in various commercial fields. Under Ulucanlar Group, these companies, ULUCANLAR İnşaat, ULU Beton, ULU Sigorta, ULU Dış Ticaret, ALGOTURC and ULU Madencilik were established to continue to deliver
succesfull services in construction and insurance as well as the industrial sectors of concrete and aggregate production.
